Balloon Care Guide
Follow these best practices to keep your balloons looking beautiful and floating longer.
Never Leave Balloons In High Heat
Never leave your balloons in a hot car — they WILL pop. Drastic temperature shifts can also cause popping. We highly recommend avoiding placement of balloons outside in temperatures above 80°F. Direct sunlight poses an additional risk, as the sun's UV rays can deteriorate latex balloons and cause rapid deflation or popping, even in moderate temperatures.
Care Tips
Unbag Items Immediately
Remove your balloons from the bag as soon as they reach their destination. This allows the Hi-Float to dry faster and maximizes float time.
Watch Your Ceilings & Sharp Edges
When removing balloons from the bag, watch out for any sharp or jagged objects that could pop them. Popcorn ceilings are especially notorious culprits. Hot light fixtures can also cause balloons to pop.
Watch Out For Wind
Placing balloons outside in the wind increases your risk of popping or losing balloons to the sky. Please use caution when displaying balloons outdoors. Wind will also affect air-filled balloons dramatically. If there is not enough weight or anchor planned for them they can easily blow away. When in doubt please discuss the best options before placing an order.
Balloons Are Fragile — Treat Them With Care
While we love the joy balloons bring, they aren't designed for rough play. Please help children handle them gently to avoid popping.
